Interestingly, on the same online forum thread where the photos first appeared, Mr Goh Meng Seng, who was formerly a WP member and candidate in 2006 GE and formerly NSP secretary-general and candidate in 2011 GE, commented:
"It is strange that Sylvia Lim didn’t use her usual WP’s “no comment” style when approached about this little romance. .....She has basically put herself in a very vulnerable position with this literal admission of dating romance. I don’t think she even know who exactly she is dating except that he is a former soccer star."
