A 21-year-old Perth student was named in court yesterday as the "Australian head" of an international drug trafficking syndicate.
Chung Yin "Rico" Tam, was one of five people arrested and charged after the alleged importation of 37kg of methylamphetamine this year.
The Australian Federal Police have said the shipment, which came via Hong Kong and Singapore aboard a container vessel, was secreted between ceramic tiles and had a street value of $13 million. Full story
