Two NGOs filed police reports against ex-NUS scholar and his girlfriend

JOHOR BARU: TWO non-governmental organisations filed police reports yesterday over a Facebook post allegedly made by a former National University of Singapore student and his girlfriend, which they claim was offensive to Muslims.
Ushanita Association (Kulai branch) chairman Mazanah Mohammad Zain and Malaysian Diabetes Association (Tanjung Puteri branch) deputy chairman Fauziah Abdullah made the report at the Tampoi Police Station, here, at about 1.30pm.
Speaking after lodging the report, Mazanah, 56, described the post as mocking Islam. Full story
