SINGAPORE, June 20 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has announced the establishment of a Haze Inter-Ministerial Committee (HIMC) as a national effort to safeguard the health and safety of Singaporeans.
HIMC will be chaired by Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen with representatives from Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Communications and Information, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Social and Family Development, Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Manpower.
