Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has described former United Kingdom Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher as one of Britain's great leaders and said he was saddened to learn of her death.
In a letter to UK Prime Minister David Cameron to express his condolences on the passing of Thatcher, Lee said: "As Prime Minister, Baroness Thatcher vigorously championed economic liberalization and enacted many market-based reforms that accelerated Britain's development. Full story
