Yahoo! News Singapore, 1 Nov 2012During a press conference on Thursday, the Agency for Science, Technology and Research's (A*STAR)’s Data Storage Institute (DSI) launched “A-Drive”, one of the world’s thinnest 5mm hybrid hard drives in a 2.5 inch form factor.
It provides up to 1 TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) with 32 GB Solid State Drive (SSD) – the equivalent of storing up to 250,000 songs for a price that “passes the wife test”, executive director of DSI, Dr Pantelis Alexopoulos said. Full story
