Singapore's July CPI down to 4.0%

SINGAPORE, Aug 23 (Bernama) -- Singapore's Consumer Price Index (CPI) All Items inflation fell to 4.0 per cent year-on-year in July from 5.3 per cent in June 2012.
This reflected more moderate increases in the cost of accommodation, private road transport and oil-related items.
On a year-on-year basis, accommodation cost inflation slowed from 10.8 per cent in June to 7.8 per cent in July, according to a joint statement by the Ministry of Trade and Industry and Monetary Authority of Singapore. Full story
