Never before in any country on planet Earth, except uniquely in Singapore has the ruling party and its related agencies spend so much time, money and effort at the expense of its native citizens to please the “Foreign Talents” which it has “massively imported” into the country.
In March 2010, Senior Minister of State of MICA, Grace Fu organized a “Water Splashing Festival” for new immigrants in Bukit Batok to celebrate their New Year and she asked Singaporeans to “celebrate” the festival together as a way of “showing our respect to them”.
As if these festivals and millions of dollars spent weren’t enough to put the message across that Singapore welcomes these “Foreign Talents” with open heart, open arms and maybe even open legs (tic), Singapore’s national telecommunication company has taken it one step further.
SingTel, the national telecommunication company of Singapore is now celebrating Philippines’ Independance Day and has planned a series of “non-stop entertainment, games and prizes” for presumably Filipino “Foreign Talents” from 14th to 17th June at Suntec City Atrium. Full story
