Filipino PR jailed for assaulting Singaporean taxi driver in NTUC Fairprice supermarket

A taxi driver got punched in his face several times after being accused of jumping queue at a NTUC FairPrice supermarket located at Yishun.
The brawl left Nadasan Chandra Secharan, a taxi driver, with a fractured jaw.
His attacker, Benedict Policarpio Cortez, 31, punched Secharan in his face several times after an argument broke out in the supermarket.
Cortez is a Filipino waiter and a permanent resident of Singapore. Full story
