The chief executive officer of the National Arts Council and the Esplanade, Benson Puah, has been diagnosed with lymphoma, a type of cancer that attacks cells of the immune system.
In a joint statement on Monday, the National Arts Council and the Esplanade said Puah, who has been dubbed as Singapore arts scene’s most powerful individual, started a 16-week treatment for the condition on the same day. Full story
