Frustrated commuters suggest extreme measures to cure MRT hiccups

Commuters are in disbelief over the recent rash of MRT breakdowns and some are demanding radical measures to clean up the rail system and prevent future failures.
A two-hour breakdown this morning saw 18,000 commuters stuck as train services on the Circle Line was delayed.
In frustration, some passengers have called for extreme measures, including a complete closure of the system for engineers to fix problems that have uncannily been occurring regularly since two major train breakdowns in December last year. Full story
