Yale Alumini Magazine, 5 Jan 2012Yale-NUS College (left, in an artist’s rendering), Yale’s new joint venture with the National University of Singapore, was conceived as a way of introducing liberal-arts education to Asia, where career and professional training is the usual undergraduate curriculum. But a year and a half before the college is scheduled to open in Singapore, the college announced this week that it will include tracks for students to earn an accelerated law degree or a master’s degree in environmental studies with an additional year of study.
