Singapore official elaborates on benefits of increased competition

The competition law in Singapore aims at balancing regulatory and business compliance costs framework against the benefits of increased competition - so as to focus on activities that have an adverse effect on competition in Singapore.
This was stated by Dr Robert Ian McEwin of the Competition Commission of Singapore (CCS) at the 2nd two-day international conference titled "Competition Enforcement Challenges and Consumer Welfare in Developing Countries," on Thursday. Full story
