President Tony Tan sees economic crisis impacting on Singapore

Singapore - Singapore, along with other Asian countries, will definitely be affected by the world economic crisis, President Tony Tan Keng Yam said at the opening of parliament on Monday.
'While focusing on our domestic concerns, we must not lose sight of our external environment. The serious fiscal problems in the US will not be solved soon, nor will the European debt crisis, and the problems with the Euro currency,' he said. Full story
