A total of 865 elementary and high school students competed in the contest, which was participated in by 10 countries: China, South Korea, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, and the Philippines.
In the overall medal tally, China ranked first followed by South Korea and the Philippines. China had the biggest number of delegates at 467 while the Philippines had 123. Full story
