Singapore, August 17(TruthDive): Indians mostly from Tamil Nadu will get affected by the new employment norms of the Singapore Government. New norm stipulates that a non Singapore national must earn Singapore dollar (SGD) 3,000 or more per month to be eligible for an employment pass (EP). Earlier, this limit was SGD 2,800, according to the new norms to be effective from January, 2012.”Our aim is to avoid increasing dependence on foreign workers over the long term, by keeping the foreign share of the workforce at about one-third,” Ministry of Manpower said here.
