Singapore Retail Sales Decline In May

(RTTNews) - Singapore's retail sales decreased in May, after recording strong growth in the previous month, data released by Statistics Singapore showed Friday.
Retail sales dropped a seasonally adjusted 0.4 percent month-on-month in May, reversing the 6 percent increase recorded in April, which was revised up from 5.7 percent. Economists were looking for a 1.7 percent monthly decline. Excluding motor vehicles, there was a 0.8 percent fall in sales. Full story
