Singapore denies Indonesian graft suspect still in the city-state

Singapore - Singapore on Tuesday said a high-level Indonesian graft suspect was no longer in the city-state, as it responded to what it called 'persistent allegations by Indonesian media.'
Muhammad Nazaruddin, former treasurer of the governing Indonesian Democratic Party, stands accused of corruption at home. He has denied any wrongdoing and flew to Singapore in May. Recent Indonesian news reports have indicated he was still in the city-state.
But Singapore's Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Nazaruddin had left 'several weeks ago.' Full story
