The Singapore Exchange, Asia's second largest listed exchange, is cementing its place as a major world centre for trading, according to strong growth figures released on Tuesday.
Total securities turnover at the SGX rose 8 per cent in June on the same period last year to S$28.1bn (€18.7bn/$22.9bn), while derivatives volumes rocketed 17 per cent year on year to 6.1 million contracts. Full story
