Singapore Exchange to introduce all-day trading from August 1

The Malaysian Insider, 30 Jun 2011
SINGAPORE, June 30 — Singapore Exchange, Asia’s second-largest listed bourse operator, said today that it would do away with the midday trading break on its securities market from August 1.
With the change, SGX’s securities market will trade non-stop between 0100 and 0900 GMT (9am to 5pm local time) without taking a break from 0430 to 0600 GMT, so as to allow investors to respond faster to regional market movements and news. Full story
