A SERIES of sex scandals have hit this once prim and proper city like some sort of virus and it is worrying Singapore’s conservative fathers.
The puritanical façade was erected for the outside world and his own people by former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew since independence.
Now a year after his retirement, Lee, who still keeps a quiet watch on trends as Member of Parliament, is seeing his hard work gradually dissipating.
In recent months, a surprising number of public scandals like teenage prostitution, adultery and molest have been making the headlines.
