Glitch causes 1,280 passports to be recalled

The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) has recalled 1,280 passports after printing alignment issues were discovered.
"The printing problem affects a security feature of the passport and those affected may face inconvenience when they travel overseas if the problem is not corrected," said the ICA in statement.
It is now contacting those with the affected passports, which were printed and issued between 23 May and 3 June 2011, to correct the problem. Full story
