Singaporean Economy Lifted by New Vegas Sands Casino

The Marina Sands Casino resort in Singapore is proving to be a very profitable venture for all involved, as visitor numbers and average spend are far exceeding what analysts originally predicted.
Recently released figures showed that around 550,000 people visited the Marina Bay Sands casino during the first 25 days in May. Player wagering is also believed to be well above average for a newly launched casino.
Michael Leven CEO of the parent Las Vegas Sands company said, "The casino is winning slightly more on mass-market gambling than on VIP play since opening April 27." Full Story
