The Vijayawada-Guntur-Tenali-Mangalagiri Urban Development Authority’s housing projects in the Guntur district have been affected by recession.The officials of the VGTM-UDA had proposed to construct Singapore township near Mangalagiri on the Amaravati townhip at a cost of Rs 1,000 crore.
However, due to recession and reduction in the demand for luxury apartments, the company is not coming forward to build the Amaravati township. Full Story
