Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP), a leading industrial park and a joint program by China and Singapore based in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, is undergoing a transformation.An upgrade plan started five years ago is now resulting in improvements in manufacture, service, technology and the environment.
Ma Minglong, Party secretary of the SIP, said the goal of the plan is to make "a high-tech industrial park with an international competitive edge, as well as an innovative, eco-friendly and information-based city." Full Story
