SINGAPORE, March 1 (Xinhua) -- Singapore Chinese newspaper Lianhe Zaobao on Monday spoke highly of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao 's recent remarks on China's Taiwan, saying it is a positive signal for the region's stability and development.
In its editorial, the local newspaper said that Wen's remarks fully shows the continuity of the mainland's policy towards Taiwan, and this will help bring positive policy anticipation.
The editorial said that the mainland's adherence to its policy of peaceful development across the Taiwan Straits will surely act as a new stimulus to the regional stability. Full Story
