Singaporean Balaji Varatharaju faces charges in Australia for masquerading as a doctor

A FORMER Adelaide University student has been charged with various offences amid allegations he masqueraded as a doctor at a Northern Territory hospital.
Balaji Varatharaju, 29, treated more than 400 patients while working in medicine, surgery and the emergency department at Alice Springs Hospital over more than six months.
However, it has been alleged he was practising without the appropriate qualifications. Full Story
