Singapore’s economy may grow faster next year than economists initially predicted as manufacturing and private consumption rebound, a central bank survey showed.Gross domestic product may expand 5.5 percent in 2010, after shrinking 2 percent this year, according to the median forecast in a quarterly survey of economists by the Monetary Authority of Singapore released today.
