S$2.2b deals sealed at Singapore water week

SINGAPORE: The just-concluded second Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) saw about S$2.2 billion (RM7.7 billion) worth of deals done by local and international water companies, nearly six times the amount achieved last year.
SIWW managing director, Michael Toh, said yesterday that despite trying economic conditions, the increase in the value of deals signed showed that the water industry was poised for further growth.
