Indonesian Police Say Five Arrested Suspects Not Terrorists

The National Police confirmed that five of the six alleged terrorism suspects arrested in Central Java and Lampung last week were not involved in terrorist activities, but could still be charged with falsifying documents and illegal entry as they were Singaporean nationals.
“They have not committed any terrorist acts here, although I do not know [about their activities] in their home country,” the National Police’s chief of detectives, Comr. Gen. Susno Duadji, told reporters on Monday, declining to reveal the names of the Singaporeans.
