CHENNAI: A 26-year-old lodged a complaint with the Chennai suburban police stating that he was cheated of Rs1,50,000 by a person who had promised him an education opportunity and a job in Singapore.
Praveen (26), who was allegedly cheated, has been a resident of Madipakkam for the past 25 years. Last year, Muniyandi moved into their first floor flat in their premises and stayed there for three months.
