india imposes anti-dumping duty on TV pic tubes from S'pore

New Delhi, May 21 The government has slapped an anti-dumping duty of up to USD 97 per piece on cathode ray colour television picture tubes being imported from China and Korea to protect domestic players.
The Finance Ministry imposed the duty on the recommendation of the Directorate General of Anti-dumping and Allied Duties (DGAD).
The duty has been imposed on tubes being imported from China, Thailand, Korea and Singapore. The duty would range between USD 21.77 and USD 9753, the Finance Ministry said in a notification.
