Candidates aplenty for DBS CEO search

The global recession is lending a helping hand to DBS in its search for a new chief executive.
DBS chairman Koh Boon Hwee - who has ruled himself out of the race - told a press conference earlier this week that the financial crisis has widened the potential pool of CEO candidates. He added that the search will be global and will not “exclude anyone”.
A Credit Suisse analyst note tips the following people as potential candidates: Standard Chartered global consumer head Mike DeNoma; Francis Rozario, CEO of Temasek Holdings unit Fullerton Financial; former Stan Chart Singapore CEO Euleen Goh; and (as a outside bet) SGX CEO Hsieh Fu Hua.
