Spore halt poultry imports from Kentucky counties

April 14 (Bloomberg) -- Mexico blocked imports of poultry from two Kentucky counties and Singapore banned supplies from the entire state, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said.
Singapore will not import fresh or frozen poultry meat from the state as of April 8, the USDA said in a separate statement today. Singapore will accept heat-treated poultry meat as long as it is heated to 158 degrees Fahrenheit (70 degrees Celsius) for at least 3.5 seconds.
