In a report released early today, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) said it had recorded a 91 per cent e-filing rate at the online filing deadline on 18 Apr 09.
The rate, which set a new record, was an increase of 4 per cent from last year, where 87 per cent of taxpayers filed their tax returns online. Out of 1,059,000 taxpayers who filed their returns, 962,000 did it through electronic means.
