Singaporeans less willing to take up temporary work: survey

SINGAPORE, Apr 22, 2009 (Xinhua via COMTEX) -- RBWTF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- A recent survey showed that Singaporeeans are less willing than their counterparts elsewhere to take up temporary work, local media reported on Wednesday.
According to local radio 938live, the survey, conducted by recruitment consultancy Robert Walters, found that about 33 percent of Singapore respondents would be happy to take on a contract role, which is lower than the average of 55 percent for all respondents in the survey.
