Singapore has just announced that it will be cutting the levy placed on hotels during the F1 period by one night and as such sees the number of nights applicable for the tax drop down to four.
In a joint statement announced by the Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Singapore Tourism Board now sees “the F1 levy will be in effect from Thursday (24 September 2009) to Sunday (27 September 2009)”.
