That seems to be one interpretation of the preliminary data released today by GuideMeSingapore.com - a Singapore-focused information portal that covers a wide range of topics on doing business, living, and working in Singapore.
During the period from November 2008 to February 2009 - roughly correlating with the start of large-scale job losses following the financial meltdown of September 2008 - the site experienced a 79% increase in visitor traffic compared to the preceding 3 months. However, the increase in traffic to sections of the site that are devoted to new venture formation was a startling 156%. This increase was higher (187%) for returning visitors than it was for new visitors (123%).
