It’s back to the eugenics debate with Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew bringing it up once again but this time around there seems to be little interest among the younger generation.

SINGAPORE’S founding leader has revived a 25-year-old eugenics debate, by advocating assortative mating, or finding a spouse that is at one’s level.

A long time advocate of selective breeding, Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew told some 700 people that a Singaporean with a non-graduate spouse “will worry if their children will make it to the university.”
