SINGAPORE: The Singapore government said today it has a handful of companies that are critical for national defence and would ensure that the defence interests were not compromised.
Singapore's Minister for Trade and Industry, Lim Hng Kiang, said the government had also put in place ownership restrictions in sectors like telecommunications, airports and seaports to protect critical infrastructure in times of necessity.
