The former ABC correspondent Peter Lloyd has had a charge of drugs trafficking dropped.
The ABC reports that Lloyd will plead guilty to some lesser drugs charges in exchange for the dismissal of the more serious drugs trafficking charge.
Lloyd was caught allegedly possessing 0.4-grams of the drug ice while in Singapore.
