The Singapore armed forces says its annual military exercise in central Queensland is a chance to try out new technology.
Exercise Wallaby is underway at Shoalwater Bay north of Rockhampton.
Exercise director Colonel Ishak Bin Ismail says Singapore will be using new Leopard tanks for the first time, as well as unmanned aircraft that can be operated by troops in the field.
