Singapore gets dedicated pre-school TV channel

HONG KONG – JimJam, the pre-school TV channel that is a joint venture between Chellomedia and HIT Entertainment, will launch in Singapore from next month.

Launch on cable network StarHub is the first time the net has been aired in Asia. It first bowed on Sky Italia in 2006 and is now available in 20 countries, primarily in Europe and the Middle East.

Targeted at children aged between 1 and 6, JimJam offers a mix of new and classic programming including HIT shows "Thomas & Friends," "Bob the Builder" and "Fireman Sam."
