Singapore Police Commissioner Khoo Boon Hui has become the new president of the international police organisation, Interpol.
Commissioner Khoo has been the head of Singapore police for more than 10 years.
He replaces South Africa's chief of police Jackie Selebi who resigned in January after prosecutors announced their intention to charge him over his links to a businessman accused of murder.
