DBS Hong Kong said on Friday it would announce the buy-back prices for Lehman Brothers structured notes next week, local media reported.
Hong Kong Association of Banks chairman He Guangbei said banks would buy back Lehman Brothers structured notes from holders at market values – as proposed by the government.
They have appointed accountants Ernst & Young as the independent financial adviser responsible for the buy-back process – including valuation of minibonds.
A spokesman for DBS Hong Kong said after they had decided the price, they would notify investors next week.
