SINGAPORE: The rain the drivers had feared arrived in Singapore on Friday, threatening to affect evening practice for Formula One's first ever night race.
There were thunderstorms and heavy rain in the early hours of Friday, with Singapore media reporting isolated instances of flooding. There were leaden skies into the afternoon, with practice sessions beginning at 7 p.m. local time.
