PETALING JAYA: Merrill Lynch (Singapore) Pte Ltd (MLS) has served a writ of summons and statement of claim on UBG Bhd, seeking US$4.39mil (RM14.9mil) over a financial advisory services dispute.
UBG said in a statement to Bursa Malaysia that MLS had filed the claim in the High Court of Singapore yesterday.
“MLS’ claim is in relation to fees arising from the alleged provision of financial advisory services by MLS to UBG pursuant to a financial services agreement dated June 27, 2006 entered into between UBG and MLS,” it said.
