Singapore Airlines has just recorded another year-on-year load factor drop in July, seeing the carrier unable to attain even one month’s load factor growth, despite strong passenger growth.
In July the load factor dropped another 1.1% to sit at 81% despite passenger growth of 3.6%.
An abundance of capacity has been the leading cause to these figures with the carrier declaring, “The year-on-year increase in capacity follows the delivery of a number of new aircraft in recent months.”
