"Host Hotels & Resorts Inc., which in March formed a joint venture with the Government of Singapore Investment Corp., has named Peter Meyer to head the venture.
As managing director of the new venture, Meyer will oversee hotel investments in Asia and Australia that could reach $2 billion.
Host Hotels & Resorts and Reco Hotels JV Private Ltd., an affiliate of the Government of Singapore Investment Corp.’s GIC Real Estate Pte Ltd., will each invest up to $600 million in the joint venture."
