Singapore state investor Temasek Holdings [TEM.UL] on Monday launched the sale of power generating company Senoko Power in a deal that may raise about $3 billion.
Companies expected to bid include Singapore's Sembcorp Industries (SCIL.SI: Quote, Profile, Research), India's Tata Power (TTPW.BO: Quote, Profile, Research), Japan's Marubeni (8002.T: Quote, Profile, Research), Bahrain investment bank Arcapita and Malaysia's Tanjong (TJPL.KL: Quote, Profile, Research), said banking sources who had been briefed on the deal.
